The Enviro-Business Society (e3) at San Diego State University presents Earth Day 2009.
At Earth Day at SDSU ‘09, the student body and community will come together in an annual event to celebrate the planet and spread awareness of sustainable lifestyles. Earth Day will be ritualized forever more on April 22nd at SDSU. We must come together now for the common good of the future.
The event will have many components:
•Farmer’s Market :: where local farmers can sell their produce at SDSU’s first ever Farmers’ Market
•Earth Fair :: where sustainable businesses and organizations will be available for consumer networking and professional opportunities.
•Green Art Exhibit :: SDSU students will showcase their creative works in a silent auction in which proceeds will be donated to a philanthropic organization
•Green Concert :: Earth Battle (battle of the bands) and Earth Dance (battle of the DJs)
